roaming addon not working on Bangalore India

Hi, I have roaming activated in id and phone settings, but have been in India for 3 hours now and still am not able to access the internet (other than by WiFi from my hotel)

I bought the ten days India add-on, 20gb, which I can see through the app is active (but no data yet used from it)

What network are you connected to?

 

Have you tried resetting network settings?

 

Did you purchase the add-on before going, or whilst you were there?

I tried all networks. Airtel, Vi India, jio G. None of them work. Airtel connects and says I have run out of credit. The link it gives me goes nowhere. And the addon in the app still says no data used. I bought it a day before I left, from the UK. I bought ten days, as my trip is 7 days long and so to cover that. I have now bought an alternative esim for internet which works fine. Please provide me a refund on the faulty roaming add on.
