Roaming not working in Morocco

I bought a roaming pack to Morocco before leaving

UK. I received a text saying it's activated, and my ID Mobile account shows the pack as active. I turned on data roaming in my iPhone settings and also in the ID

app.

when I arrived in Marrakech, I switched on the phone and soon received a text warning me that I'm connecting to the Morocco network and that I will be charged unless I've bought a roaming pack.

However I don't get any connection on phone, sms or data networks.
I've tried all the suggestions including iPhone network reset. Nothing works.

I can connect via WiFi and that's what I'm using now to write this.

Help please!

Sorry to hear this, have you tried manually connecting to networks whist there?

 

In Morocco, we rely on IAM, Orange Morocco, Wana for networks.

Hi. Yes I did try connecting manually to the networks you mention in Marrakech. It did not work. I tried the other suggested solutions on the ID help page, including doing iPhone network reset (which means all past WiFi passwords were wiped) - nothing works. I have had to buy a local sim to keep connected via internet. Not happy with the stress on arrival. I would like full refund of the roaming pack I purchased. Please advise how I get that.

I'm not able to get my data working in morocco after purchasing £20 for 5 days and I've tried all the instructions so I need to know how i will get my money back as this is very disappointing 


Hello how do I get a refund as I'm going to have to purchase a e sim as I need data whilst I'm out and about so that my kids can contact me
