What Livechat?

“Always available.Whether it's day or night, our Chat Bot is here to answer your questions 24/7. Please allow a few moments for the Live Chat Button to load.” I’ve tried this numerous times and have never seen a Live Chat Button. Does this feature exist?

Sim not working. New customer

New customer to ID. I received my phone and sim last week. Popped the sim in and nothing. No service and nothing registering in the phone. I have tried all the suggestions; on/off, flight mode, in another phone etc, all to no avail. I cannot register my account or register a complaint as I do not have any confirmation of my telephone number. I have been trying the on-line chat for over two days now, but it always says busy and suggest trying here. Can someone please assist. Thanks

Cannot register account

Hi all. My SIM was activated yesterday. (I ported over my phone number from Vodafone) however when I try register on the mobile app it states "oops the details you entered are incorrect, please try again" any idea why it's doing this and how to fix it? Thanks in advance

No service

No network at all since 16:00….funny thing is daughter and wife both using ID...both have full signal. Location is Ashford, Kent. Tried everything..even had an argument with apple support as I thought is because of my phone.

Sim mix up

switched to ID from EE last week and received my sim cards ( my wife’s phone is under my name) on Saturday. My switch date was toady (27/11) and I put in one of the sim cards whilst the wife was at work. I have managed to insert the wrong sim seemingly as it is showing up as the wrong number 3even though ID said my number has switched over. Alas when I did same to my wife’s phone the number on the phone is the same as mine !! I have switched sim cards with my missus but we still have the same number and I can’t seem to correct this with the ID switching page.  Any ideas please 🙏🏻

Live Chat isn't working!

Hello Having realised that I can’t seem to be able to speak to a human being at iD mobile, I have tried to use the Live Chat function for the last 2 hours - each time I watched the countdown from 61 minutes down to 6 minutes and then the chat window just disappeared! I can’t bear to do it again. Can someone tell me what’s going on the the chat and how to actually communicate with an advisor? This is maddening and I only joined iD a week and a half ago...

I closed my old account, do I have to open a neew one?

I had an account with iD-Mobile in July this year, because I bought a SIM to use for the holiday to have more data. I have a contract with EE. Because I liked the service and the value for money of iD-Mobile, I have now decided to switch to EE and I have now closed my old iD-Mobile account SIM [REDACTED], to avoid any confusion. In the meantime I have received my new iD-Mobile SIM card [REDACTED], which will become active on 2023-1219. I have already setup the direct debit with iD-Mobile for my 12-months contract. Will I have to open a brand new account with iD-Mobile?

New phone and new to ID mobile

Hi, I signed up to ID mobile and got a new iPhone 15 on contract. The phone doesn’t seem to perform well at all, battery doesn’t even hold throughout the day, it seems to be very slow/delay in response time on the phone for instance when typing. Equally network cuts out a lot and often, needing to put phone on airplane mode and back quite often. What can I do? Who do I reach out to?

No mobile number

I have received a demand for payment for a phone that I think was owned many years ago. I am concerned this is a scam as I cannot contact anyone without knowing the mobile number and I cannot seem to access the chat facility. How do I resolve this if all of the communication involves knowing the mobile number ?

Network query - is iD mobile restricted compared to 3?

This is quite a technical query. A relative was in my house recently and noticed that his MVNO phone (on 1pmobile which is EE) got no signal while right next to a “real” EE phone. Swapped sims and the problem swapped. What I later discovered was that EE do not allow their MVNOs full unrestricted access to their entire spectrum. I think in this case the 1pmobile didn’t get the 800Mhz signal which was part of 5G, and there must be an EE 5G transmitter nearby. Hence the EE sim got great signal, the 1pmobile got nada. My question is - does iD get restricted the same way on the 3 network? If I get an iD mobile sim will it get exactly the same signal strength and network as a genuine 3 sim in all areas? thanks

Received a fake phone, now can't port number

Hello,  Quite a strange one here and it seems to be getting more and more confusing.  I’ve moved from Vodafone and purchased an iPhone 15 on a new contract on the 17th November. The next day, my phone was delivered by DPD and when I opened the iPhone box there was a fake (looked like a stock or display) iPhone 15 Pro in there. The phone was hollow, super lightweight and had no working charging port or anything like that (see pictures).   I contacted ID about this and they requested I send the device back. They cancelled the contract and requested I purchase another contract (basically starting fresh). I received by new iPhone 15 and this time it’s fully working. Unfortunately, the PAC code from my previous provider was sent to the previous contracts number which was cancelled. ID are now saying that the number cannot be ported, as it’s associated to the old ID number and they cannot do internal porting.  I hope someone can help. I don’t seem to be having much luck here and my experienc

Port was supposed to be done on Nov 20 but I have still not received any update on its progress. I did receive confirmation that port would be done on Nov 20 but no update thereafter on its progress.

new customer, poor speed

I'm a new ID customer, moving across from EE.  Despite the Three network coverage saying I'd get good indoor and outdoor coverage at home, it's not useable. I have to rely on WiFi calling, and the data speed are abysmal. I've had to buy a backup EE SIM now to ensure I get good data coverage at home. Please let me know if there's anything I can do myside, as it's not workable at the moment. ThanksAndy
