Isn't it time id mobile came up with a reason why calls drop after 2 minutes and 5 seconds. I'm not the only person who has this problem but they blame the SIM card the phone the area never a fault in there network

Hello @Kevin Hindson

Thank you for getting in touch.

We are very sorry to hear your calls are disconnecting.

Can you please confirm the handset make/model?

Also, are texts and data working without issues?

Thanks,

Nat

Calls are very hit and miss and have to either restart phone or toggle airplane mode regularly to make calls. Phone was checked in Currys and new SIM card tried but still getting issues

Hey there @Kevin Hindson, sorry to hear that.

Is this every phone call you make, cuts off at 2 minutes and 5 seconds? No matter who you call, what time you call etc?

Thanks,

Tyler

Perhaps there’s an issue with call handling/routing between the Three UK and O2 mobile networks, @Kevin Hindson

The MVNO companies Tesco Mobile & giffgaff both use the O2 network - good luck getting things sorted.

Hi @Kevin Hindson

Thank you for confirming.

Just to rule the handset out, are you able to use the SIM in another handset and make a call to a number you have the issues with?

I suspect you may still have the same issue but it would confirm the issue lies with the SIM/network.

Thanks,

Nat
