Question

leaving ID cost

Hi

My three year contact ends this month so I only have £37 max to pay before I can switch. I am wanting to change provider but when I request my PAK code I am warned that I will be charged £93. I have no idea why. How am I meant to switch when I am constantly being charged?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Which service provider is this, @AliceKit

The minimum-term for iD Mobile phone contracts is 24-months - iD don’t have any 3-year phone contracts.

Maybe it was.a 24 month contract then. I’m with ID.

Okay @AliceKit, you can text INFO to 85075 to get an idea of your early termination fee, if you’re thinking of switching before your iD minimum term has finished.

This did not answer my question at all. Please reread the question.

Once you end your iD contract, iD would stop charging you - your final bill would be produced the day after your iD account was closed, @AliceKit.

You’d be charged an early termination fee, if ending your 24-month minimum term contract, before the minimum term was completed.

Perhaps you can rephrase your question about charges - alternatively have a web chat with iD customer service about the cost of leaving using a PAC.

The iD advisers work until 8pm on weekdays.

Hey there @AliceKit, thank you for reaching out.

What date does your contract end please?

Thanks,

Tyler

Okay @AliceKit, if you leave/switch from iD Mobile on 26th March - by using a PAC or STAC - there would be no charge for leaving.

If you want to switch to another provider and keep your iD mobile number, get a PAC from iD.

Hi @AliceKit

If your contracted period ends on the 25th, I’m unsure why the estimated final bill would be that high, are you sure this isn’t your early upgrade date?

In the iD Mobile app, go to plan - contract details.

This should tell you the start date and then the contracted period length.
