both my galaxys arent recieving sms messages (north east England)


Hi all, I've realised both of my Samsung galaxies aren't receiving sms messages off varying people, nothing has changed on both our phones (my son has my other) that we are aware of, and have a few signal bars. I've tried airplane off/on, restarting the phone, looked through settings and am still stuck so if anyone can help then that would be great. We can still receive calls from the people who have messaged us if that matters.

I believe you’ve been impacted by this Network Incident:

Three engineers have identified the issue with a recent network change and are now working on a fix. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. In the interim, you should still be able to use other communication apps for messaging, such as Facebook Messenger, iMessage, Telegram and WhatsApp.

@Kinglee1984 This may be due to a network issue even that your other services are working.

Have you checked to see if there's been any reports or ongoing work in your postal area?

@Kinglee1984 More likely then there's an network issue within that location or other network operators. I can forward this to a staff member for to see if they can investigate this.

One last question how long as this issue been going on for roughly?
