My SIM wont activate


I signed up to pay monthly with iD Mobile, I requested to keep my old phone number. I put my SIM card in however it kept coming up saying no SIM, went to Currys to get a new SIM now this one says no service. I am unable to activate my SIM  and i am in desperate need of my phone. Please help
