Are there no unlimited data add-ons available?

I’m looking to cover a transitional period without broadband through a move. I had thought that a good way to cover it was unlimited data and hotspotting (I am a heavy user - a shade over 1TB of usage over the last 30 days), but I can’t see a way to add unlimited data to my existing 30gb mobile plan. Am I missing something? It seems fairly standard on other networks.

Hi @Yoxford ,

Yes, iD Mobile has SIM-only unlimited data plans available on 1-month, 12-month, and 24-month contracts, all with 5G included. Prices start around £16/month for 1-month rolling and £17/month for 12 or 24 months. These plans allow unlimited tethering/hotspot use, so you can share your connection with other devices without restrictions
iD Mobile does not offer unlimited data as an add-on. Add-ons only provide extra data in fixed amounts (e.g., 7-day, 30-day, or 12-month boosts), but there is no unlimited add-on option. To get unlimited data, you would need to switch to an unlimited plan via an upgrade or plan change of available on the account,
In the UK: Unlimited really means unlimited , no speed caps or data limits for domestic use.
Abroad: There’s a 30GB fair usage cap when roaming in EU destinations. Outside the EU (like Canada), roaming is charged at standard rates and unlimited data does not apply.
iD Mobile doesn’t allow adding unlimited data to an existing plan. If you need unlimited data for heavy use and hotspotting, the best option is to upgrade to an unlimited SIM-only plan, starting at £16/month with 5G and tethering included.
