Question

Double payment of data

I am in Peru and I have been doing my data add one because of the roaming charges and data. I am expected to spend approximately £45 on this whilst I am here, however I also still have a charge for using data outside of this plan on my statement. This is incorrect and how can I resolve this?

Thanks,

Tom

    Hi @TommyC59,

    Thanks for your post.

If you're in Peru, any usage outside of your inclusive allowance can be charged and will appear on your bill.

    For example:

    • Your normal monthly plan charge will still apply.
    • If you use services that aren't included in your allowance, these can be charged separately and appear as additional costs on your bill.
    • Any usage that exceeds your available allowance may also result in additional charges.

It's also worth noting that your normal monthly plan charges will still apply while you're abroad, as the roaming add-on is an additional service rather than a replacement for your monthly plan.

Unfortunately, we're unable to amend or remove charges from the Community. If you believe the charges are incorrect, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Service Team via Live Chat so they can review the usage and explain exactly what the charges relate to.
