i am being charged 5x the amount of my usuall bill

I was using an e sim while I was travelling turned off roaming data on my phone turned of the sim completely and now I’m being charged 5x the amount I usually should?
Also since I’ve got back from travelling my data has not been as good as it previously was before I left
