Thanks for getting in touch.

A roaming add-on won’t cover SMS messages sent from the UK to India, as this is classed as international usage rather than roaming.

To send international texts, you’ll need to make sure your Bill Cap is set above £0 to allow the additional charges:

Log in to the iD Mobile app.
Go to Bills.
Select Manage bill cap.
Increase your Bill Cap to an amount that will allow the international SMS charges.
Save the changes.
Go to Plan > Manage your iD services and make sure International and Premium services are enabled.
When texting an Indian number, make sure you’re using the +91 country code.
