What makes me smile is having days to myself when I can relax and pamper myself.

What makes me smile most is getting home from work and seeing my dog' Pongos tail wagging like crazy—it's impossible to stay in a bad mood after that welcome!

Waking up in summer with the birds singing away.

I am currently 18 weeks pregnant with my first (and desperately longed-for) child, so I smile when I think about how different my life will be when he’s here, what memories we will have together, and how happy I am even though he’s not even here yet. I smile every time I am able to buy him a new outfit or gorgeous pair of booties. I smile when I think about how lucky I am that I’m finally going to be a mama x

I smile at accidental wins — finding money in an old coat, finishing a sentence just as the microwave beeps, pressing “snooze” and waking up one minute before the alarm anyway, like I’ve outsmarted time itself.

My two boys make me smile. After losing my mum late last year they have been my biggest source of strength, motivation and happiness. Their laughter, hugs, and little everyday silliness remind me that joy is still all around.
