If I won £2m, I would pay off the debts of my friends and family first. Then I would purchase a property to own and then a couple of additional properties for my retirement.

A house, adapted for my needs, as I’ve rented all my life, and struggle with stairs in my flat. Probably enough for a house each for my three adult sons too! Pay for my funeral.

Firstly I would organise a day centre for the elderly where they can come socialise, get help with phone calls or any letters, debts, appointments, housing advice etc, have transport to and from the centre, give money to charity, pay off my debts and find suitable Permanent accommodation

I’d use the money and borrow another £2m to build nice clean modern and secure homes to be available at low rents for young people just starting out.

2 million would help pay for more experiences on this crazy planet we call home. Seeing the most northern islands to southern. Walking the Great Wall of China or snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef.

I would give some to my family, go on a world cruise, buy a larger house and a nice car, I would also give a donation to various charities and save the rest.

I’d allocate £1,000,000 to investments, focusing on stocks, real estate, and startups for long-term growth. £400,000 would go towards personal development, including advanced education, lots of travel. Another £200,000 would be donated to charity, supporting causes like education, poverty alleviation, and environmental initiatives, or establishing a foundation for lasting impact. Finally, I would open my dream brunch spot in London.

Firstly, I'd spend some money on the house to get it repaired (roof, windows, doors), then I'd redecorate it and buy some new furniture.  I'd also get the garden done and make it somewhere nice to sit out in.  Then, I'd pay off the mortgage and any outstanding debt we have before having a lovely holiday.  Once all that is done, I'd invest a little, save a lot and give some to charity.

We are happy where we live now and would spend some on improving and updating our house. New cars. Keep some in reserve and donate half to various local charities who provide care for the homeless and vulnerable.

Pay my debt, then buy a big piece of land with a house for my family, and create a Scout Activity Centre, with climbing walls, fishing and boating lake, archery, shooting range and little pods for them to camp out in.

I’d spend money going to different countries and help the ill families who can’t afford treatment. I’d also try to help homeless people.

Change my car and buy my partner the classic car he wants, buy a bed and breakfast business by the sea and go on holiday to a warmer place for a month or three! I would put money into a trust funds for my niece, and 2 step sons, and save a wee bit for retirement.
