I would buy my house that I currently rent and renovate it put double glazing in.  That would probably cost £1,000,000.  Then go on holiday, buy a car, new phone and invest the rest so that I can live comfortably in my old age.

I would put it in the bank and pay myself a monthly salary, enough to get by, so I can quit my job and stay at home with my children, they grow up so fast and we miss all the important milestones just because we have to go to work.

I would spend it on a house that has at least one bathroom for each of my family, 4 in all, to end all morning arguments as we all rush to get to school or work. Heaven on earth!

I'd pay off my mortgage, renovate my house (it's in dire need), upgrade our old cars to something more reliable, save some for my children's futures, help family, donate a good amount to several local charities to help the community, and a few treats like a nice holiday with family

First off, I would book a full frills holiday to New Zealand. We have some great friends there and it is such a wonderful country full of wonderful people. I’ve also been part of a fundraising group for over 20 years, so I would definitely give some money to Cancer Research UK. Finally, we are hoping to move house in the new years, so I have a sneaking suspicion the remaining money would help with that!

I would buy business class airfares for our eldest daughter Jane, her husband Gary and our grandson Tom to come over here from Australind Western Australia, for an extended visit so they could meet up with their six siblings and their families. The siblings have not seen Jane since she emigrated to WA some 13 years ago.

Jane underwent a removal of a life saving brain tumour operation four years ago which has left her partially disabled and unable to work. Her husband has juts started his own property services business so could take time off if flights and some cash were made available to him.

We would then pay off five of our childrens mortgages, buy our youngest daughter a home, invest cash for our 7 grandchildren and finally begin to tick countries off our bucket list by travelling all over the world.

What would you spend £2,000,000 on?

I would retire then spend some on home improvements.  A holiday would be on the list along with a wardrobe refresh and a new car.  I would give some to my kids, get my sister a better car and treat my parents. I would also make some donations to charity.

What would you spend £2,000,000 on?

This would make for a very comfortable retirement. First tasks would be a holiday and pay off the mortgage. Look to go for a common mobile provider for the family, ID Mobile naturally!

I’d then invest and live off the accumulated interest, caring for family.
