My proudest achievement was finishing my degree and securing a place on a graduate scheme, involving moving out on my own to a new city and beginning a new life 🥳

My proudest moment was in August, I went with my whole family to the British Transplant Games in Oxford, to watch my brother compete after he had benefited from a heart transplant. I couldn't be prouder of him and all he has achieved with this new lease of life,  he is truly an inspiration.

We also always remember the donor and his family and we hope that my brother now living a full life,  brings them some comfort.

Proudest and happiest moment was the birth of our second child in June. Our first child also turned 1 year old in May. We now have 2 under 2 and celebrating throughout the year the joys they bring. We also thought life wasn't hectic enough so loved house in July/August time.

Oh and obviously renewing my contract with iD mobile on March.

My happiest achievement was trusting myself more in life, trusting my intuition to help myself grow and achieve all challenges that have come my way.

For many years on most Sunday mornings I sat in Church in Gelligaer South Wales. Ubove my pew was a plaque dedicated to  Major Mc.Murtrie who was a foreman at the local colliery before being killed in the First world war. 15 years ago we retired to the seaside but I always promised myself I would go to Belgium and find his grave. As a tribute to his bravery.

Well this year I found time and I drove to Belgium and to the Ypres area and after some searching I eventually found his grave:-

Major John McMurtrie Royal Engineers 151st Field Coy was awarded the Military Cross for meritorious service in Mametz Wood and was killed at Ypres, July 26, 1917 aged 32 years. Buried Bard Cottage Cemetery Grave Ref: III. F. 3.

Such a brave young man who gave his life for our freedom. I felt proud and honoured to have been able to make this kind of pilgrimage and to pay tribute to him. IDs free roaming was very useful in helping me to locate his grave and to navigate around Belgium, book hotels and ferry's etc. All for free using my normal allowance.

I'm very proud of the professional achievements in my life this year - I went to loads of new places and met lots of new people, and the projects I worked on were nominated for nationally recognised awards. The efforts went noticed and the final productions were pretty special, if I do say so myself.

Personally, I've been thankful for the time I've been able to spend with my family and friends. I went to lots of amazing concerts this year - McFly, Bastille, Amy MacDonald, to name a few - and I'm glad I was able to carve out the time and save the dates even when I was very busy dashing around the country.

Happy new year!

My happiest moment is making it to the end in one piece, relatively, looking forward to sunnier times ahead and see what the year brings.

My proudest and happiest moment was cold water swimming 🏊🏼‍♀️

Finally convincing my smart home to stop rebelling against me. After months of lights flickering, like they were auditioning for a horror film, doors locking by themselves during Zoom calls, and the thermostat deciding I needed 'arctic training' in July, I mastered the art of home automation wizardry. So no more yelling at Alexa like a Gordon Ramsey melt down.  Now everything works in perfect harmony.  I know it’s not curing world hunger or winning the lottery, but in a year full of chaos, achieving domestic peace feels like I've tamed the ultimate boss level. The bonus of all is that my electricity bill thanked me, and my neighbours stopped thinking my house was haunted.

My happiest and proudest moment in 2025, was getting the recognition by patients in the hospital where I work. I treat every patient the same and they have reviewed my customer service on the hospital forum website. That was my proudest moment, my happiest was when I found a bungalow for my parents due to disability issues and then helped them decorate it.
