I love Only Connect! I have always enjoyed a good quiz show, but Only Connect particularly appeals to me because of the interesting contestants, its humorous host, and the style of the questions. They really do make you think differently!

Succession, I'm Scottish and I loved watching auld Brian play the role barely hidden as the head of that family who I shall not name but Australian folk come to mind. All the actors were brilliant but they had an amazing script.

The repair shop is my favourite too. It is truly inspiring to see these skilled craftspeople at work and the high standard of work they produce. Some of these skills are at risk of being lost for ever and the programme could well become a valuable historic record too in the future. It would be wonderful if young people could find their way into these valuable occupations. It is lovely to see the delight on people’s faces and to hear their stories but for me it is all about the skill and craftsmanship.
