Clean out your vacuum's filters. Wash the washable ones, vac and blow the rest, along with the cyclone etc. It affects the effectiveness of the thing you rely on to clean your other stuff.

Best cleaning hack is to stop being lazy, stop looking for magic wands and apply good old fashioned elbow grease.

To clean a non stock pan (because they do end up sticking!) Use baking soda, vinegar and water and gently bring to the boil.

Use Bar Keepers Friend for multi-surface cleaning & stain removal. We had never heard of it and it was recommended to get stains out of our Belfast sinks. Works and absolute treat! Can also be used on Stainless steel, copper, chrome, china, porcelain, plastic, glass, brass, tiles and laminates. 👌

I’d recommend cleaning gel to clean awkward places like computer keyboards and car vents. It’s like the slime toy we had in the 80’s.  You push it between the keys and all the dust sticks to it making the keyboard look new again.  Just search for super clean gel on Amazon.

Use the long nozzle and the brush head on the hoover to do all the dusting - bookshelves, picture frames, curtains ( not any delicate ornaments!)

my best Cleaning tip is the Microwave Steam Clean

  • Fill a bowl with water + lemon slices
  • Microwave for 3–5 minutes
  • Let it sit (door closed) for another 2 minuteS

The steam loosens grime so you can wipe everything off easily—no scrubbing and lemony fresh

Someone once advised to outsource what can be outsourced so you can focus on more pressing matters, so outsourcing cleaning to a professional saves from becoming further wornout after a days work and gives room to start unwinding and relaxing with feet up & a glass of nice drink to hand watching favourite TV shows.
