The Made by Google event has wrapped up, and the Pixel 11 family is officially here.

This year's lineup puts AI front and centre, with new features designed to help you take better photos, stay organised and spend less time dealing with the everyday admin your phone usually leaves to you.

Whether you're looking for a reliable all-rounder, a camera powerhouse, or a foldable that doubles as a tablet, there's a new Pixel with your name on it.

Here's a closer look at the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

The Pixel 11 is the new starting point for the range, but don't mistake it for Google's basic option. This year, it's picked up some of the biggest upgrades.

The camera is the headline act. A new 48MP main lens delivers 56% better light sensitivity than last year's model, helping your photos stay sharp and detailed when the lights go down. There's also 30x Super Zoom, a significant step up from the digital zoom found on the Pixel 10.

Google's new AI-powered feature, Magic Capture, is designed for those moments when you're never quite sure whether to take a photo or record a video. With a single tap, it captures both, then automatically edits and curates a collection that's ready to share.

Behind the scenes, the new Tensor G6 chip powers more of Gemini's helpful features too. That could mean organising a dinner reservation, adding an invitation to your calendar from a message, or helping keep on top of your day without all the back-and-forth.

The 6.3-inch Actua display now peaks at 3000 nits, making it easier to read in bright sunlight, while Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 helps protect it from everyday knocks. Battery life remains at 30+ hours, and wireless charging is up to 25% faster thanks to built-in Pixelsnap magnetic charging.

You can choose from Obsidian, Frost, Hibiscus and Pistachio.

If photography is top of your wish list, the Pro models are where things get really interesting.

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL push zoom capabilities all the way to 120x Pro Zoom, up from 100x on last year's Pro devices. A larger telephoto sensor also improves light sensitivity by 30%, helping camera features like Instant Night Sight capture brighter shots without the usual wait.

Video gets some attention too. Pro Stable Video helps smooth out shaky footage, while Video Boost supports 8K recording for anyone who likes to capture everything in maximum detail.

One of the more interesting additions this year is HiLight. Leave your phone face down and it'll gently glow when a favourite contact is calling or Gemini has something important for you, giving you a subtle heads-up without constantly checking your screen.

The Super Actua display is now 9% brighter than the Pixel 10 Pro at 3600 nits, while a new anti-scratch coating makes it more than twice as scratch-resistant as last year's model.

Both phones run on the Tensor G6 chip and include a vapour chamber to help keep performance running smoothly. Wireless charging is up to 29% faster, and the Pro XL can be configured with up to 1TB of storage using Zoned UFS technology for faster file transfers.

The colour options this year are Obsidian, Canyon, Fog and Olive.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has had one of the biggest transformations in the new lineup.

It's thinner and lighter than the previous generation, while Google says it's three times stronger thanks to a redesigned ultra-durable composite back. You still get the same flexible setup: a full-size smartphone on the outside that unfolds into an 8-inch tablet when you need more screen space.

Both displays are 20% brighter this time around. The outer Super Actua display is ideal for quick tasks, while the larger Super Actua Flex display gives you more room for multitasking, streaming and productivity.

The camera also benefits from some of the improvements seen elsewhere in the range, including 30x Super Zoom and a new 48MP main camera with 56% better light sensitivity for low-light photography.

HiLight makes an appearance here too, helping you stay on top of important notifications without opening the phone. Like the rest of the family, it runs on Tensor G6 and Titan M3 chips, offers more than 24 hours of battery life, and supports wireless charging that's up to 20% faster than before.
