Best item on the plate? Has to be the stuffing. Whether it's a long-time classic like sage & onion, or a heritage one like chestnut & cranberry, it brings something to whatever meat is being served.

It's got to be pigs in blankets. I know someone who would quite happily just have a plateful of those for Christmas Dinner LOL.

Roast potatoes to be the single best, with their crispy exterior and fluffy interior.

Red Cabbage done in Port, then Sprouts followed by Roast Potatoes and we always had Cranberry Sauce an English Mustard. Never been a fan of Turkey so prefer a well done Chicken with the Stuffing done inside then finished of outside. The skill of those that cooked to get it all done and out at the same time. Also Boxing day seconds....hmmmmm.That been said having friends and family around and the thoughts to those who don't. Enjoy as best you can. Merry Christmas to one and all. Warwick
