Ridiculously hard question to answer, like everyone else my taste has changed with time from Beatles, Orbison and Supremes, through Mud, Slade and Quo, again through Roxy, Bowie and Ultravox to name just a few. Argueably a Favourite of Favourites has to be Queen with Bohemian Raphsody: That haunting blend of opera and rock will still chill. How many others can raise the soul AND get yer ‘ead bangin’? Classic- absolutely. 👑 🤙🏻 😆

Boomtown Rats by the Boomtown Rats. This has a fast driving beat, excellent song, lasts 5 minutes.

The long, live, version of Tunnel of Love from Dire Straits Alchemy album. Has it all for me,  nostalgia, my youth and great guitar riffs as I move from Tempo to Lactate !

I have no idea how anybody can choose a singular favourite song. One of mine is Death on Two Legs by Queen.

TWO favourite songs probably:

all time favourite “Africa” by Toto (those guys played on every great hit of the 80s and 90s).

and my current soft rock guitar obsession: the many (decent quality) impersonations of Whitesnake  “is this love”
