I am holding back the Gag reflex to support Chelsea in the CWC this summer because I have to back English teams, and they are the only ones left. We support the Spanish national teams for the Euros because we are Barcelona fans through and through. That dope TV will be great hanging on my living room wall!

The Lionesses and Lando Norris.

Be good to see Hamilton do well.

Record number of Brits in the Tour de France, lets hope they can get at least a stage win or even better win the whole thing.

Where do I start? The Grand Prix at Silverstone. Hamilton going for a record number of wins at the famous converted WWII airfield still not looking entirely at home with Ferrari but definite signs of the old desire still alive. The weather made for a really exciting but difficult to predict result but in the end Piastri suffered from a rather harsh time penalty from the race officials that dropped him back to second behind his team mate Lando Norris, the home grown hero, racing in front of the adoring fans assembled in the stand that bears his name. So first and second place for the British McLaren team and top podium for Lando.

The Lionesses after a stuttering start against the French have now roared back with a convincing display over the Netherlands and short of an absolute disaster should go through to the knockout stage. I believe they will get even better the more they believe in themselves. James, Mead, Russo and Stanway to name just four outstanding players in a team full of exciting and driven girls hungry to prove they are as good as any team in the competition.  This is going to be an exciting few weeks ahead!

It's all over bar the shouting at Wimbledon but we can be proud of Emma Raducanu and Cameron Norrie in particular who made a good run to the quarter finals before meeting the second seeded Spaniard Alvarez who was playing tennis of a sublime standard.

The treat I am relishing later this summer is when the England Roses welcome the world to Britain for the Women's Rugby World Cup. This is another tournament where our ladies have a very strong chance to shine. The team is packed with talent and when firing on all cylinders tries can come from many areas. The one player however who gets me on the edge of my seat is Ellie Kildunne. What an exciting talent she is. She can light up the pitch in an instant and her tireless running when converted into tries and assists will give our girls an edge against the world's best. I really believe our Roses are going to give Twickenham something to shout about.
