2 Phone Numbers - How to transfer one number to my son so he pays his own phone bill..?

Hi,

I pay for 2 phone numbers with ID. One is mine, the other is my sons.

I want to set this up so my son pays his own phone bill. How do I do this..?

Thanks for getting in touch.

 

Just to clarify, we’re not able to change the name on an existing iD Mobile account to transfer ownership to another person. However, what you can do is update the Direct Debit details so your son can take responsibility for paying his own bill going forward.

 

To update the Direct Debit details:

You can do this through your iD Mobile account:

  1. Log in to your iD Mobile account
  2. Go to Billing
  3. Select Direct Debit details
  4. Update the bank account details to your son’s information
  5. Save the changes

Once updated, future payments for that number will be taken from the new account.

 

Alternatively (manual payments):

If you’d prefer not to use Direct Debit, your son can also make manual payments each month by:

  • Logging into the iD Mobile account for that number
  • Going to Make a payment in the billing section
  • Dial 0333 003 0001 or 0333 003 7777.
