Apple Music/Fitness Offer - UID Missing or incorrect

So I signed up to ID Mobile partly because of the Apple Fitness Offer. As soon as I got the email I tried to sign up and for the UID Missing or Incorrect error message. 

 

I contacted ID and frustratingly I was told there is nothing they can do and it is an Apple issue and to contact their customer services. Contacted Apple and they said it is defiantly an ID Mobile fault.

 

Any help anyone?

I am having the same issue, tried another browser and cleared cookies but no luck. I have been told that ID mobile can send a direct link to register but not sure how to get in touch with them on how to ask for this.

I’ve had the same issue. LiveChat were no help at all, just telling me to contact Apple. However, it seems like something that you should be dealing with since a lot of people are obviously having the same problem and this offer is being used to incentivise people to switch to you.

We completely understand your frustration, especially where a promotional offer has influenced the decision to purchase or switch.

 

Unfortunately, we're not able to provide or generate redemption links from our side. Access to those links and the associated claim process sits with our Customer Service team, which is why customers are directed to them for assistance.

 

While we're happy to point customers in the right direction, we don't have the tools available on this platform to issue, resend, or amend redemption links ourselves.

 

If you haven't already done so, we'd recommend contacting Customer Service again and explaining that the issue relates specifically to the redemption link rather than the device itself, so they can review what options may be available.

Your customer service colleague could not have been less interested or less helpful. I was told to contact Apple as there is nothing you can do at your end. However, you made the offer so you need to fulfil it. It’s not for me to chase Apple and get them to sort it, even if I could find my way through their customer service maze to get someone to speak to about this, which I cannot.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties with the above.

As previously mentioned, this is handled by a specialist team who have the tools required to reissue links, which we do not have access to on our side.

I would recommend contacting them again directly, or alternatively reaching out to our Complaints Team for further assistance. They can be contacted on 0800 049 1300 or via the Complaints line on 0800 049 2402, and they will be able to review the matter and assist with reissuing the link if needed.
