been given chance to upgrade but i only want sim can i still upgrade as it is a option

On my upgrades options I have a sim only available can I still do that and keep the same number and do the upgrade via the app

If you’re currently on a 24-month handset contract, you’ll only be able to upgrade to a SIM-only plan within the last 24 days of your contract. If you’re within that window, the option will be available in the app and you can go ahead with the upgrade there — and yes, you’ll be able to keep your existing number.

 

To upgrade via the iD Mobile app, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the iD Mobile app
  2. Go to My Account / My Plan
  3. Select Upgrade or Thinking of upgrading
  4. Choose your preferred SIM-only plan
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to complete your upgrade

Yes, it is possible to upgrade to a SIM only plan and keep your existing number.

 

However, it does depend on where you are in your current contract. If you’re on a 24-month plan, you’d usually need to wait until the last 30 days of your contract before you can upgrade to a SIM only deal.

 

 

If you’re already seeing a SIM only option in your upgrade section, that’s a good sign that you may be eligible, but for the best experience and to make sure everything is set up correctly, we’d recommend going through our Sales Live Chat team to place the order.
