Or why not look closely at the recent bill, and compare against an earlier one; what changed?

The best place to check first is your latest bill breakdown in the iD Mobile app or online account and compare it with a previous bill. Increases are usually due to things like out-of-plan usage, roaming charges, premium services, or a recent plan change.
