I have just come back from Turkey. Paid £20 for a bolt on bundle waste of money. I couldn’t access any of the data. Went on the help section tried all the things to try and use it . Kept saying SIM card does not allow a connection to this network.

    Hi @Rhinos13

If your iD Mobile roaming add-on isn't working, it’s usually due to a missing setting on your account or device. Try these quick fixes to get connected:-

    • Enable in App: Go to the iD Mobile App or website. Ensure "Roaming" is manually switched ON in your account services.
    • Check Bill Cap: If your bill cap is set to £0, roaming data is automatically blocked. Adjust this cap in the app.
    • Enable Data Roaming: Go to your phone’s settings (under Connections, Mobile Data, or SIMs) and ensure the Data Roaming toggle is switched ON.
    • Manual Network Selection: Turn off automatic network selection in your phone's network settings and manually select one of the local partner networks in the country you are visiting (This one sounds like the one that was limiting your connection).
    • Restart: Toggle Airplane mode on and off, or completely restart your device to force it to connect to the local network.

If you are still having trouble, your best bet is to contact the Live Chat via this link (The Live Chat team are available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday) to discuss this.

When you contact the Live Chat :-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the unhelpful chatbot.

Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.

    Good luck x
