Probably best to resolve this issue by using the iD online Live Chat service, to speak to a customer adviser @davecrazy696969

The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends - just tell the 24/7 chatbot you’d like to “talk to a person”.

It’s an online business and support is available using socials or live chat. That’s how they keep costs down.

I requested to bring my old number to ID mobile, switching hasn’t taken place

    HI @ASOKANTHA,

I’m really sorry about this I can appreciate how frustrating it is when you’ve done everything asked and your number still hasn’t moved across.

When you request to bring your old number to iD Mobile, the switch (port) only completes once all of the following are in place:

    1. PAC code was used correctly
    The PAC must be:

    • From your previous network
    • Still valid (they expire after 30 days)
    • Entered against the correct iD Mobile number

If the PAC was submitted before the SIM fully activated, the port can stall.

    2. SIM is fully active on iD Mobile
    Your iD SIM must be:

    • Showing signal
    • Able to make calls/texts (even with the temporary number)
    • If signal has been dropping, this can delay the transfer.

    3. Porting timescale

    • Once everything is correct:
    • Ports usually complete within 1 working day
    • If it hasn’t switched after 2 working days, it means something has blocked it and it needs manual intervention

However, I've just sent you a private message to help get this sorted.
To find it, click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select ‘Private Messages’.
You can also use this direct link to your inbox: https://community.idmobile.co.uk/inbox/overview
    I'll speak to you there.
