Calls straight to voicemail

I'm repeatedly getting important calls (Bank, school, hospital etc) going straight to voicemail without ringing. I've tried every setting, still nothing. There doesn't seem to be a fix in the forum and I can't try my esim in another phone. Has anybody managed to solve this yet?

Hi @Ududbfhd8ejr

I’m sorry to hear this, have you tried dialing the following?

61*12330#

This should make the ringing as long as it can be adjusted to at 30 seconds.

Hi, I just tried this as getting same problem and it shows USSD code running then connection problem or invalid MMI code. My phone status shows 4 bars, WiFi connected with 4arcs and 2 arrows and WiFi calling.

Hey there @Corrin, sorry to hear that.

What phone do you have and what’s your full postcode?

Have you always had this issue with us, or more recently?

Is it only calls from businesses/landlines etc that you’re missing, or normal mobile numbers too?

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi, my phone is Samsung A34 5g. My postcode is WD18 7SA. It started in November, I only noticed it from landlines then as don't get many calls. Yesterday I was waiting for an important call and it went straight to voicemail this could have been from a mobile, landlines or business phone.

Hey there @Corrin, sorry to hear that.

Have you tried disabling, and then re-enabling voicemail via the iD Mobile app/website?

Do you have call forwarding enabled?

Thanks,

Tyler

Thanks @Corrin

Apologies, just to understand, what happens when you attempt to remove the call forwarding?

Hi - I too am having the same issue with calls going straight to voicemail. I am unable to deactivate the call forwarding. The message I get is "Faied to read data. Unable to deactivate call diverting when busy. Unsupported by operator".

I’m having the same issue and I’ve been told, via Live Chat, that I can’t accept calls from 01, 02, 03 numbers as not included in my plan?!  It’s an intermittent problem but as I’m a POA for elderly relative in hospital I need to be in contact at all times!  It’s happening when mobile is not in use, goes straight to voicemail but number doesn’t show on list of recent calls.  I can’t deactivate call forwarding, getting the ‘data can’t be read etc’  message which I’ve read can mean an issue with the SIM?  Will look at suggestions made but can anyone else help as I’m about to find another provide and to hell with the fees I’m expected to get out of my contract!
