Hi I have a contract mobile with ID. I want to get different handset. But I cannot upgrade to 2027. Do ID allow you pay off mobile? And get better one. I have Samsung galaxy A16 5G. Thanks!

You cannot upgrade early with iD Mobile, but there’s a workaround. You could port out your number, and your final bill would include an early termination fee. Pay that, buy another contract, and then port your number back in. This is an expensive and time-consuming process. Alternatively, you might as well buy a handset SIM-free and simply pop your existing iD Mobile SIM in it.
