can i switch my number after buying my plan?

I have already bought my ID mobile contract and got my SIM card in the post. Is it possible to switch my number over after this and if so how can I do it?

Thank you for joining iD Mobile. Yes, it’s absolutely possible to switch your number over after you’ve received and activated your SIM.
Here’s how you can do it:

-Activate Your SIM: Insert your iD Mobile SIM into your phone and make sure it’s working.
-Get Your PAC Code: Request a PAC code from your current provider (this allows your number to be transferred).
-Submit Your PAC Code:

  1. Log in to the iD Mobile app or My Account.
  2. Go to Switching to iD Mobile and enter your PAC code.

-Number Transfer: Once submitted, your transfer will be scheduled for the date you select. It usually takes 1 working day and will be completed by 6:00 PM on that day.
-Keep Your iD SIM in Your Phone: You’ll receive a notification once the transfer is complete.

Thank you for that I have been trying to do it before I got my id mobile SIM thought I could keep the SIM that's already in my phone thank you u have been really helpful
