Can’t get voicemail messages

I have an iPhone 12 mini and recently when I ring  voicemail the menu option to hear messages is not given. I know I have messages but can’t get to them! I’ve tried online support twice - told to reset network each time but it makes no difference. Any ideas?

Thank you for getting in touch. I’m very sorry to hear that you’re unable to access your voicemail messages. Based on what you’ve described, the issue may be related to the voicemail system rather than your phone’s network settings. Please try the steps below:

Settings → Phone → Change Voicemail Password

If prompted, set a new voicemail PIN — this sometimes reconnects the voicemail service.

Hi Zandile,

Unfortunately I don’t have ‘Change Voicemail Password’ as an option within Phone.

Apple Support says Voicemail is a carrier-specific feature - I presume that’s ID Mobile?

Use id’s App, or log in to website; try turning off v/mail. Then turn back on.

Your messages are likely in the iPhone’s built-in live voicemail feature.
