Hi. I joined id mobile 1 week ago and have a problem. I currently own a samsung galaxy note 3 and have never had this problem be for. My phone has had a o2, Tmobile and EE sim in it and i have been able to use all services. I came from EE to ID a week ago.

Putting my ID sim in the phone i thought everything was working, i can send and receive texts but cannot make or receive calls. My phone says its registered on the network. My mum tells me shes ringing me but my phone does not ring, i get voicemails my side and the phone does not ring.

Looking through the forum for answeres i think i need volte enabled on the phone, i have LTE but not volte. My phone is to old ?.

I also have a galaxy s7 given to me but its network locked to  EE. I am in the process of trying to get the phone unlocked so i can use the ID sim in it.

Any Help appreciated

Hi @Robuk

Sorry to hear that you are unable to make or receive calls. Could you please try the following steps:

1. Manual Network Selection

Go to Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators → Search Networks.
Select iD Mobile manually (usually listed under “3 UK” if you’re in the UK).
Avoid Automatic if the phone keeps connecting to another network (e.g., “Three IRL”).

2. Check Call Settings

Ensure Airplane Mode is off.
Make sure Call Barring or Call Forwarding isn’t enabled.
Verify VoLTE is enabled (if iD Mobile requires it for 4G calls).

3. Update Carrier Settings

Sometimes old carrier settings can prevent calls.
Go to Settings → About Phone → Software Update → Update Profile/Carrier Settings.

4. Reset Network Settings

Go to Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
This resets Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile networks without deleting apps or data.
