Can’t text

So I’ve recently joined iD and switched my number over using a PAC code.

I have no issues receiving calls/ texts (that I’m aware of) but I cannot send text messages. I’ve checked my iMessage settings and they’re all linked to right number.

Do I have a faulty sim?

As iMessage is 100% an Apple service, perhaps they can help you @HLWalker2

Although, if you’ve only just switched your number to iD, it might be worth leaving iMessage OFF for several days and retry - otherwise, you could try a NETWORK RESET.

Hi, it is still not working. Even with iMessage turned off. Could it be the SIM card that’s the issue?

My best suggestion would be the same as @andewhite above, it’ll be worth trying a network settings reset and speaking to Apple directly.

 

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

 

Resetting network settings will NOT reset any personal data (Photos, Videos, Contacts etc) only network settings.
