I am confused about upgrades. If I log into carphone warehouse and choose upgrade. Is this the same as upgrading through id app? So will I just receive my new phone through the post with the same number? So I can just charge it and use it? thanks for any help

Yes, if you upgrade through Carphone Warehouse or the iD Mobile app, it’s essentially the same process. Your upgrade will keep your existing number, and your new phone will be delivered to you.
Once it arrives, you can just charge it, set it up, and start using it, your number will stay the same, and your plan will update automatically.

That's what I thought but who ever I was talking to on the live chat said I had to order on app or I would be starting a completely different process and would loose my number and all sorts.
