changing sim

I want to change my contract sim number and swap it with new number but needs old sim number as well so want to shift my contract on new number by keeping old number active. Will it work or I will lose my old number?

    Are you looking to change your iD number to a new number, or are you wanting to port a number in to iD? If so, is this number from another network, or iD? Or are you looking to swap a SIM?
