Just had a few days in North Wales. Phone signal was hit n miss but I sent 3 ordinary texts and was charged 90p. Anyone have an idea why? Each time I sent a text I received a message back that said "roaming in the UK is not included"

I'm confused

Hi @Steveh2026,

I am so sorry to hear of the issues regarding your bill.

The message you received and the charges suggest your phone may have briefly connected to a non-UK network if you were close to the coast, which can occasionally happen in some areas.

We'd recommend checking your bill to see exactly what the 90p charge relates to. If it shows as a roaming charge and you believe it's incorrect, please get in touch with our Live Chat team so they can investigate this further for you.

A team member contacted me by phone to explain what had likely happened. He refunded the wrong charge and adjusted my settings so that it wouldn't happen again. Very pleased with the quick response to my questions. Don't know how to undo my previous 3* review but after such quick response I would now change it to 5*. Thank you for your help
