Conditional call forwarding active

All of the outgoing calls I make on my Samsung A55 phone take about 30 seconds before I hear ringing or the person answers. After approx 30 seconds the following message flashes up on my phone "Conditional call forwarding active".

I haven't setup call any call forwarding and this occurs for every call I make, whether I use a saved contact or manually dial the  number.

When I go to phone settings/ supplementary services, the cursor spins for a while before producing the following message "Failed to read data. Something went wrong." I assume that this means these options have been disabled by IDMobile and so I can't have accidentally changed them.

How do I get my phone to immediately dial a number without the hassle of waiting 30 seconds or this mysterious call forwarding doing unknown things behind the scenes?

Thanks

Hi there @Zog, from reading the above, I’d definitely recommend getting a free replacement SIM card. Please see below how to get one:

Please try this and let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

Hi there @Zog, sorry to hear that, that’s odd. Has this issue only began recently?

Have you tried the following: Dial the code ##004# to turn off conditional call forwarding.

    Thanks,

    Tyler

I first noticed this a few months ago when I got this phone but don't recall it happening with my previous phone which was a Moto G8.

I entered your code and received the following:

"Call forwarding conditionally for all basic services. Connection problem or invalid MMI code."

My phone is currently displaying the icons for 4G signals so it doesn't appear to be a signal problem.

My phone is currently on Android 15.

    Thanks

Hi there @Zog, sorry to hear that. Did you purchase the phone from us, or elsewhere?

    Does everything else work okay?

    Thanks,

    Tyler

I bought the phone SIM free elsewhere when Samsung were doing their cashback offer, so I know the phone was brand new. Everything else works ok.

This issue occurs with both the Samsung and Google phone apps. I've checked the various system and app menus and can't see anything obvious for conditional call forwarding other than the supplementary services which I can't access.

    Thanks

Hi there @Zog, sorry to hear that.

Does the following help at all also? - Try dialing ##002# or *#002# to deactivate all call forwarding.

    Thanks,

    Tyler

Both of these produce "MMI code started" and then after a long pause, "Call forwarding conditionally for all basic services. Connection problem or invalid MMI code."

I assume these are linked to the IDMobile system rather than settings on my phone.

    Thanks

Hi there @Zog, sorry to hear that. Finally, have you tried restarting and resetting your network settings, to see if that changes anything at all?

If not, we’ll drop you a PM.

    Thanks,

    Tyler

I don't see any options to reset the mobile network connection - I don't have any problems with WiFi, so don't want to erase those settings.

I noticed that Connections/SIM manager is displaying "SIM1 ID unknown number"so out of curiosity I tried a couple of other codes I used on previous phones, *#100# to identify current phone number and *#61*11# to change the ring duration. The first said USSD code running and the second MMI code started. They both finished with "Call forwarding conditionally for all basic services. Connection problem or invalid MMI code."

Could this indicate a problem with my SIM card?

    Thanks
