Hi,

I changed plan in March. I had over 100 GB data around 20th of March, on 22nd of March, it changed to around 25 GB. I was told the unused ones would be carrued over. Why it showed differently?

    Hi @TJQLJ ,

Thank you for getting in touch, and I understand why this would be confusing. I’m happy to clarify.

When a plan is changed, your data allowance resets to the new plan, and any rollover data from your previous plan may not always carry over in full. This can depend on the type of plan change and when it was applied within your billing cycle.

In your case, it sounds like your plan change on 22nd March triggered a reset of your data to the new allowance (around 25GB), which is why the previous balance of 100GB is no longer showing.

    Hi @Yosef

It is correct. I can understand why that would be confusing.

With iD Mobile, any unused data can roll over to the next month, however this is based on your previous plan’s allowance and is capped accordingly. When you change your plan, the data allowance updates immediately, and this can affect how much rollover data is applied.

In your case, as the plan was changed around the 22nd March:

    • Your new monthly allowance (around 25GB) replaced the previous 100GB plan
    • Any rollover applied would be calculated from your previous month’s unused data, but it cannot exceed your new plan’s limits
    • The app will then display your new allowance plus any eligible rollover, which is why the total appears lower than before

So while rollover data is included, it doesn’t carry over the full unused amount from a higher plan once you’ve moved to a lower one.
