Does anyone know if the HMD Skyline works on the iD mobile network?

I’m considering getting the HMD Skyline phone (to use with my existing iD sim), but don’t see any indication regarding whether or not this phone will work on iD mobile’s network.  As the list of iD’s supported phones doesn’t seem to have been updated in approaching a year and a half, that page doesn’t seem too useful in determining support.

Does anyone have any experience with the HMD Skyline?  Be great to know if I can use it, particularly as it’s one of the rare phones to champion replaceable components and longer-term sustainability (albeit with security updates limited to a disappointing 3 years).

@RedRabbit  I've done a check on bthe radio bands this device supports and you'll be able to use it on the band's that IDMobile uses.

While this may be the case this device is not officially supported by ID Mobile, the choice is totally up to you.

Your welcome the main think with any device is the radio band's and the mobile network radio bands that they use. Example while there are devices that will work on networks in the UK be it 3G, 4G, 5G and 2G they may be limit to a few or one of the radio bands for a mobile network, so one could be limit to  services.

Now that Vodafone and Three UK are one  now you can also check Vodafone radio bands a very good reference is gsmarena.com on the device's and just Google which ever network to see what radio bands that they use and compare.

That’s incredibly helpful - thanks ever so much again, Joe - you’re a star.  I appreciate the guidance and I wasn’t at all familiar with gsmarena.com, so that’s a terrific resource to be aware of.  😊

Sometimes the source of information can be lost but GSMARENA is a very good database of information of mobile devices. They give detail information on device's and they have many reviews also. We're here to help others when we can. Giod luck on your quest for a new device.
