Duplicate SMS Text messages being received

Hi, 

I've recently joined iD and ported my number across successfully, but I am now receiving duplicate SMS text messages in my inbox, sometimes up to six identical messages arrive over a period of a couple of days from all senders (verification codes from credit cards & banks, ads from pizza companies, appointment reminders etc.) 

Is this a network error that can be fixed, as it's getting annoying, and hasn't happened with any other networks I have been on. 

I'm using a TCL 40 Nxtpaper 5G T771K on the latest update (TCL UI v7.0.YIB9)

    Firstly, please note that we don’t officially support this device, so services may not work properly on our network with our SIM card I’m afraid. Please see supported devices below:

     

     

    Are you having any other issues along with this texting issue? Can you make calls etc?
