esim help

I’ve got a physical sim account and this evening added an eSIM for my daughter. It’s an iPhone 11 says it’s compatible for an esim. Used QR code to download etc. texts are working however it won’t call out and incoming calls are going to voicemail. I can’t see the phone number anywhere in settings like my own phone but I also can’t see anywhere to add them. Can anyone help this Mumma out? 
 

Also the esim isn’t showing in the app and when I’ve tried to add it no text will send to the phone.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing after setting up the eSIM for your daughter. We understand how frustrating it must be, especially when texts are working but outgoing and incoming calls are not functioning correctly, and the eSIM is not appearing in the app.

 

Could you please check if the mobile number is correctly saved in the phone settings by following the steps below? If the number is missing or incorrect, kindly remove it and re-enter it:

 

Go to Settings


Tap Phone


Tap My Number


Delete the existing number


Enter the correct mobile number using the keypad


Tap Save


Restart the iPhone


Once completed, please test the service again to confirm whether calls are now working as expected.
If the issue persists, we will be happy to investigate further.
