Question

eSIM ported but no network signal

Ordered an eSIM to port from Sky mobile. Advised the port was successful but I have no network.
I have two sims showing under SIMs in mobile data my “primary” which was my old number with sky I wanted to port and the new eSIM number which was labelled “mobile data”. I’ve toggled the new eSIM number off and kept the primary as that was to be ported. It’s also ticked under mobile data as the two options show here as well.
I’ve turned my handset, iPhone 13 off and on again but still have no network. What steps can I take here? Should I have moved the new number to the eSIM ? It does show the network isn’t available on the physical sky sim, so now I’m left with a phone that has no network. Not great - any ideas of how I can fix?

    Hi @Username101

I'm really sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your services. Please try the steps below.

    For iPhone:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap Phone
    • Tap My Number
    • Delete the old number
    • Enter the new number
    • Tap Save

Then follow these steps to refresh iMessage:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap Messages
    3. Turn iMessage OFF
    4. Go to Settings > General
    5. Tap Reset
    6. Choose Reset Network Settings
    7. Once your iPhone restarts, go back to Settings
    8. Tap Messages
    9. Turn iMessage ON again

Your iPhone should now recognise the new SIM and verify your number.

    Regards,
