Face ID Bug in iD Mobile iOS App

  • Apple iPhone, iPhone 14, iOS version 17.6.1
  • Using a physical SIM card
  • ID mobile app already updated to latest version

The app previously worked for me, but after setting up Face ID to login, it stopped working. The Face ID successfully recognises my face, but upon returning to the app to validate my login, I am met with this error code, which does not have a clear number to refer to it with. (see image below).

There’s no Face ID bug. If there was, we’d all be experiencing issues. It’s working perfectly on three different iPhones here.

Hey there ​@idmobileuser233, sorry to hear this. We’re not aware of any widespread face ID issues on-going currently.

 

I’d recommend contacting Apple if the issue persists.
