Hello, my phone with ID network keeps going to emergency calls only. To get it working again I unclick the mobile data and network icons then click them on again, this usually works. Please advise how to fix this issue.

Hello, Honor 400 Life phone with ID network keeps going to emergency calls only. To get it working again I unclick the mobile data and network icons then click them on again, this usually works. Please advise how to fix this issue.

Thank you for your post. I am sorry to hear you’re experiencing this. I can appreciate how frustrating it must be if your phone is dropping to “Emergency calls only”.

 

As a first step, please try the following troubleshooting:

 

Turn Airplane Mode ON for 30 seconds, then switch it OFF again
Restart your phone
Remove and reinsert the SIM card (if applicable)
Check for any software updates on your device

 

You can also try a network reset, which often helps resolve intermittent connection issues:

On Android (including Honor devices):
Open Settings, then tap General Management (or System depending on your device).
Tap Reset, then select Reset network settings.
