Help - not receiving verification codes via Text

I have recently moved from EE to ID mobile and seem to be having issues receiving verification texts. I spoke with someover over live chat and did all the things they recommend with no luck. I am at a loss now, having tried everything, and really need access to these apps as it’s for banking. Has anyone had this issue and how was it resolved? Any help appreciated as I don’t seem to be able to speak to a person over the phone. Not a great first impression for ID Mobile.

Hi @H777 ,

I’m really sorry you’re having this issue, especially as it’s affecting access to your banking apps.

This is quite common after switching networks and is usually due to a partial port or messaging sync issue.

Please try the following:

• Restart your phone and reinsert the SIM
• Make sure your number is set correctly in Settings > Phone > My Number
• Turn Airplane Mode ON for 10 seconds, then OFF
• Ensure iMessage/RCS is turned off and back on (if applicable)

Important:

Verification (OTP) texts can sometimes be delayed after a number transfer, even if normal texts work.

If you’ve already tried these steps and it’s still not working, this will need to be escalated as a porting/SMS routing issue on our side.

Let us know.

Hi Lamiya,

Thanks for your response. I have tried this and still no luck. I would appreciate if you could escalate and get back to me as a matter of urgency.

Thanks
