how much do calls cost from Portugal

If you’re roaming in Portugal, your UK allowances can be used for calls, texts and data within our Roam Free destinations. However, calls to non-UK numbers work a little differently.

Calling a Portuguese landline or mobile number (for example a number starting with +351) is not included in your UK allowance and would be charged as an international call while roaming. The exact cost depends on the type of number you’re calling, so it’s best to check the roaming and international call charges on the iD Mobile website.

You can still call UK numbers as normal using your inclusive minutes while in Portugal, and anyone calling you on your UK mobile number will be charged by their own network as if they were calling a UK mobile. You won’t be charged to receive calls whilst roaming in Portugal.
