Question

How to get support from someone at iD?

For the last 2 months our signal has gone from pretty good to almost none existing, walking the dog on our regular route repeatedly drops calls.

At one point online tools said there was a mast problem.

Now it says all is good and I should have signal.

My problem is I can't find any way on the app to actually get support?

Hi @Kaine

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing signal issues, especially when this has been affecting you for the last couple of months and is causing calls to drop on your regular walking route.

I can understand how frustrating it is when the network status checker shows everything is working normally, but your real-life experience is very different. While there may have been a mast issue previously, we'd like to investigate the current situation further to see if there's an ongoing coverage or capacity problem in the area.

In the meantime, you can check the coverage in your area using the link below:

You may also find it helpful to try the following steps:

Reinsert your SIM card

Try your SIM in another phone

This will help determine whether the issue is related to your handset or the SIM card.

For iPhone (iOS) – Reset Network Settings:

Go to Settings → General.

Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings.

Confirm the reset when prompted.

Once complete, return to the home screen and restart your iPhone.

For Samsung – Reset Network Settings:

From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps → Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators.

Turn Select Automatically on or off.

Alternatively:

Go to Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.

Confirm by tapping Reset Settings.

Thank you,
