Hi @Fraser1586,

I am so sorry to hear that you are having trouble with Wi-Fi calling.

If you’re unable to make or receive calls over WiFi, it’s usually down to settings on the phone, the network connection, or WiFi Calling not being fully set up. Here are some things to check:

For Android devices:

  • Make sure WiFi Calling is turned on
  • Go to Settings > Connections > WiFi Calling (this can vary slightly by device)
  • Check your WiFi connection
  • Make sure you’re connected to a stable network — public or restricted WiFi can sometimes block calls
  • Toggle WiFi Calling off and on
  • This can help refresh the connection
  • Update your emergency address (if prompted)
  • Some devices require this for WiFi Calling to work
  • Reset network settings
  • Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings (this won’t delete personal data)

For iPhone:

  • Turn on WiFi Calling
  • Go to Settings > Phone > WiFi Calling and switch it on
  • Check your WiFi connection
  • Try another WiFi network if possible, as some can block WiFi Calling
  • Toggle WiFi Calling off and on again
  • Update carrier settings
  • Go to Settings > General > About and check for any updates
  • Reset network settings
  • Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Network Settings

A few extra things to keep in mind:

  • Ensure your phone software is up to date
  • Try restarting your phone after making changes

If it’s still not working after trying these steps, it could be something we need to check on your account. The best thing to do next would be to pop onto Live Chat so the team can take a closer look for you.

Regards,
