I have upgraded my contact so sim only. Will be current number transfer automatically?

I have upgraded my contract to a monthly plan. I’m worried my number won’t be carried over and there doesn’t seem to be a phone in service to ask someone.

Does anyone know what will happen and how to make sure my number carries over. I’m using the same phone I've always had.

Hi ​@edcoley  is it definitely an upgrade you have ordered? If so, then yes, the number will carry over.

Yes. As in i have a current contract and chosen the “upgrade”. Why?
