I keep getting calls from people who say they have missed my call and are ringing my back, when I've not rang them.

It happened before Christmas and now it’s happening again. A random number calls me, I answer and say hello, and they say they are returning my call, I’ve just phoned them.  I haven’t. 4-5 times a week at the moment.

I have heard of this reported before, however there wouldn’t be a solution or fix to this as it’s not something happening on our side, our best recommendation would be to ignore any unknown or unexpected calls.

 

It may be worth reporting number spoofing via the following link;

Thanks Tom, I have reported it to Action Fraud. Unfortunately I can’t ignore calls as my phone is for both work & personal.

I randomly get them sometimes too. Last one was trying to get my life insurance details. When I googled the number, it seems to be a scam that has been going on for years. just ignore them.
